Walks
Need a midday break for your pup while you’re at work or out for the day? The Mod Tail offers dog walking services designed to fit your dog’s needs and the Arizona weather.
We offer 25-minute and 45-minute visits. The length of walks depends on the temperature and your dog’s comfort level. Whether it’s a brisk neighborhood stroll or a slower sniff-focused outing, each walk is tailored to your dog’s pace, personality, and energy level.
Currently serving the East Valley, our walks are one-on-one and fully supervised – never rushed, never crowded. Just fresh air, movement, and a happy tail by the time we return.
Overnight
Our overnight stays are designed to feel more like a relaxing vacation than a boarding experience. Set in a secure, home-based environment, your pup will enjoy cozy accommodations, personalized care, and a calm, welcoming space to rest and recharge – whether it’s for one night or a full week (or longer).

At The Mod Tail, your dog’s safety always comes first – especially during Arizona’s hottest months. While walk times are often not adjustable, we tailor the length and type of activity based on current weather conditions to ensure your pup stays safe and comfortable.
On hotter days, 25-minute or 45-minute walks may be shortened or modified. If outdoor conditions aren’t safe, we’ll substitute with an indoor enrichment visit, which includes potty breaks, interactive play, mental stimulation, and plenty of TLC.
We always check pavement temperatures before heading out and never risk a walk if conditions aren’t paw-safe. We’ll also communicate with you if any adjustments are needed. Your dog’s wellbeing is our priority—rain, shine, or heat.
